Wax Based Collage on Panel

Collage, a term coined by the French, means to "to glue" or "to stick together", is a technique and a resulting work of art, in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other elements are arranged and attached to a supporting surface resulting in a new unique composition. The collages presented here combine handmade and found papers, natural dyes, inks, encaustic wax and printmaking techniques glued to wooden boards.
